Hi, I am Katie Truemner Bruessow.

I am native to the Greater Bay Region, born and raised in Bay City. After graduating with a BFA in Illustration and focus in Furniture from Kendall College of Art & Design, my career took me to North Carolina (furniture capital of the world). Since then, my husband, our two children, and I have moved around with Caterpillar and now the Dow Chemical Company from Illinois to Singapore. In Singapore, photographing families from all over the world became my passion. I have brought that back stateside in Midland, Michigan and have enjoyed developing my traveling studio Junie B photographie. Meeting new families and reconnecting with old familiar faces has truly been a gift. Today, I am heavily focused in the Furniture Design World, photographing your sweet faces, and being a mom & wife. I am passionate about the arts whether it be through photography, painting, music, or crafting with our kids.

At the moment, I have taken a step back from full-time photography. My family & career in the home furnishings industry has taken priority. I absolutely love farm life.
